The meaning of a year

October 7, 2010
I can still remember like it was yesterday, saying goodbye to Imari exactly one year ago from today as he left on his mission. I think it was one of the hardest days, but also a very happy and exciting time...mostly for him lol. But I couldn't be any happier right now that I FINALLY made it through the first year. Now the countdown can finally begin. I can't believe how much I still love him, and that even though we are hundreds of thousands of miles away from each other, my love for him just keeps growing and growing. I am so proud of him!

wanted to make this day special but I was so super busy, but my morning started out with a playlist I made of some of mine and Imari's songs, and others that just remind me of him. I am a nerd I know lol. Then I was gone at school and then work and didn't get home until 11:00 PM...I was sad I didn't really get to celebrate but when I got home and walked into my room, I came home to this!

I have the best Roomates and Friends ever! Thanks guys for making this day special for me!

Cant believe IT

I can't believe many things right now! I can't believe that summer is almost over, I can't believe I haven't been home in over a month. I can't believe that my missionary has almost been out for a year, I can't believe that I go to school with 60 girls, and I love all of them, I can't believe how attached I have become to my roomates, I can't believe I made it through finals, and I can't believe I just finished my first semester of Hygiene school...Life is good!!

60 of the most amazing girls! I sure love these girls, and have become so attached to them in such a short amount of time.

This is how we feel on Mondays...

And most of all I love him because he is my Daddy, and has given me the greatest life a daughter could ever ask for!

Why I love missionaries!

Well part of the reason why I love missionaries so much could possibly be because I have a very special place in my heart for this particular one! He just sent me his memory card a few weeks ago, and it's always so much fun seeing all the pictures and videos! He has now been out for 8 1/2 Months...YAY!!!

School

I honestly cannot believe that I have almost been in school for two months now. Where does the time go? I love school and I love the program I am in. This is definitely what I want to be doing right now. I have met so many amazing girls and have already learned more then I ever thought I could cram into my brain in such a short amount of time. I had mid terms the last two weeks, and I am so glad I made it through. At this point I feel like if I can make it through that then I can make it through just about anything. I don't think I have ever felt this much stress in my life. My last two weeks have consisted of going to school all day...coming home and studying all night...staying up until about 1 in the morning studying, and waking up two hours before class to study more. It's been quite the exciting week lol. But I passed them all...yay! And as hard as it may be at times I have to say that I LOVE it!!!!

This is usually where you will find us...but plus at least two more people that are missing in the picture.
I know that this is super late but I couldn't pass this by. This was on mother's day...and also we celebrated my Birthday~ I love my family so much. And on this special day I am especially grateful for my wonderful mother and all that she does for me! I wouldn't be who I am today without her guiding influence and everything that she has taught me. I love that I can go to her for anything....and I mean anything...and she always has the answers. I love that even though i'm living here, I always have a place to call home. And it really is the happiest place to be and that is all thanks to my mom!

She Also makes the best birthday cakes too! Thanks mom...I love you!

I thought I would be better at this

I really did think I would be good at this whole blogging thing, and I had every intention of always keeping up on it. But now I can't believe that almost two months have gone by since I first and last posted. So much has happened, and I now have so much to catch up on...dang it! Well I guess first off I am loving living in Utah. I am so happy to be here and I have already made some life long friends. I LOVE my roomates...I don't know what I would do without them. It's nice that two of them are in the Hygiene program with me. They are what keep me going...and make our all day and all night study sessions fun! Oh what would I do without them...I don't even know! Here's a few pictures of some of the new friends I have made and some of the fun things I've done in my first month of Utah!
